Hello. Thank you for visiting my Blog. I started making hand made cards in January 2018 and now I create cards almost every day. I love making cards to give away to other people. When I discovered card making it lit a spark within me that drives me to always learn new things and make new cards every chance I get.I live in Western Pennsylvania with my husband and my son and our dog Karley, who is a mix between a yellow lab and a pit bull.
To create this card, I printed the image with my ink jet printer. I colored the image with Ohuhu alcohol markers. I used a stitched square die to trim the image. I stamped additional snow flakes and stars from stamps in my stash using Versafine Clair Warm Breeze ink. I glued snowflake sequins to three of the four corners and I heat embossed the sentiment (from a stamp set in my stash). I added a present in front of the Polar Pear from a present stamp that I had in my stash. I used foam tape behind the stitched square to pop the image up. I used blue pattern paper with moons and stars and teal glitter paper from 12x12 paper pads from my stash. I trimmed the pattern paper with my Tonic guillotine trimmer.

Hello! Today I have some easy birthday cards using Catherine Pooler's "Peeking Pets" stamp set, Catherine Pooler inks and Celebrate die.
I have a YouTube Video demonstrating the steps I followed to create the cards:
For the first card I used Flirty Fuchsia, All that Jazz and Aquatini inks to ink blend a column of color from right to left. I stamped the pets on top of the ink and gave them some hats, using the same color inks. I used the Catherine Pooler Celebrate Die, which I cut out from a piece of ink blended paper to match the colors of the card. I die cut the word using white card stock and layered the colored word Celebrate on top, giving the die cut dimension. The background is an ink blended panel, using Grape Crush, Flirty Fuchsia, Fiesta Blue All That Jazz, and Aquatini.
The second card was one that I made a mistake on (accidentally smeared ink on the white section of the panel) but I salvaged it by splattering inks on the panel (using the same combo as above) and adding an ink blended Celebrate die on the front of the panel.
My third card was created by spraying water on the ink that was left behind when I ink blended the background of card #1 and "smooshing" the paper into the wet ink. It created a lovely water color background. I matted this card on a piece of aqua card stock and a white A2 card base. I used the Celebrate die again (with some white die cuts glued under it to pop it up).
My fourth and final card background was created with left over ink that I "ink smooshed" on the background. I used the stencil that was left over when I die cut the Celebrate die, as well as the small bits of paper that fell out of the die when I cut the die. I added some sequins from the Catherine Pooler Mission Blend. I used a light purple mat layer and a black card base.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today. Here are some affiliate links to the products that I used, as well as my Social Media information:
