Watercolor Thanks | Kitchen Sink Stamps

Hello! Today I created a card for the Kitchen Sink Stamps Design Team. To create my card, I used the Watercolor Thanks Stamp Set, the SVG Cut File for the Watercolor Thanks Stamp Set, and the Buffalo Plaid from the Extended Plaids Printable Background (for FOILING).

Kitchen Sink Stamps: https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/sc/ref.cgi?storeid=*14894f2aab5d40e710c47a8a&name=Tracy_Shultz

The Foiled Background

To create my card, I started with the background. I used my laser printer and printed the Buffalo Plaid from the Extended Plaids Printable Background set. I foiled with red foil, using my Mini Minc Machine. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die. Below that, I die cut with a stitched rectangle die a green foil cardstock panel, cutting it slightly larger than the plaid foil layer and using it as a mat layer. I adhered the layers to a black A2 (4.25" x 5.5") card base.

The Watercolor Thanks Stamped Sentiment

I used the SVG cut file from the Watercolor Thanks Stamp set to cut out the outline of the word thanks. I put this in my stamp positioning tool and stamped using the following Color Recipe (stamping in reverse order):

  • Layer 4: Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz
  • Layer 3: Catherine Pooler Rouge (stamped off one time to decrease the intensity of the color)
  • Layer 2: Catherine Pooler Rose Petals
  • Layer 1: Catherine Pooler Polished (stamped off one time to decrease the intensity of the color)

Black Mat for the Watercolor Thanks Sentiment
Using a small stitched rectangle die, I cut a mat layer for the Watercolor Thanks Sentiment. I glued the stamped Thanks sentient to black rectangle and then adhered them to the foiled card panel.

                                                     Mini Sentiment
I stamped the "so much" mini sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I stamped this onto a banner (white cardstock) that I cut out from the Watercolor Thanks SVG cut files. I trimmed a piece of black card stock to create a mat layer.

Angels Wings | Kitchen Sink Stamps

Hello! Today I created a card for the Kitchen Sink Stamps Design Team. To create my card, I used the Angels Wings and Musical Things for Teddy stamp sets.  I always imagine Angels have more than one set of wings. I imagine they would be layered, so I layered two sets from the Angel Wings Stamp Set. This is a Christmas Card and reminds us of the important role that Angels played in the Christmas Story.

Kitchen Sink Stamps: https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/sc/ref.cgi?storeid=*14894f2aab5d40e710c47a8a&name=Tracy_Shultz

To create my card, I used the SVG file that includes the angel wings, halo, several sentiments and banners. I stamped the Angel Wings in these colors in reverse order:

5. Altenew Gray Denim

4. Altenew Silver Lakes

3. Momento Teal Zeal (stamped off to make a lighter shade)

2. Momento Summer Sky twice (to deepen the shade)

1. Momento Summer Sky (once)

I stamped two sets of wings. Next, I stamped the halo using the following inks in reverse order:

3. Catherine Pooler Catching Rays

2. Catherine Pooler Catching Rays (stamped off to make a lighter shade)

3. Catherine Pooler Chiffon

I used Memento Teal Zeal ink to stamp the sentiment.

Next I used the Musical Things for Teddy Stamp stamp. The Harp has three layers and I used these inks:

3. Rich Cocoa (Momento)

2. Peanut Brittle (Momento)

1. Cantelop (Momento)

Next I used the Kitchen Sink Stamps Cloudy Skies Stencil to ink blend some soft clouds in the background.

To finish my card I layered the Angel wings and used foam to pop up the top layer, as well as the halo. I also stamped the musical notes and star from the Musical Things for Teddy set. I used Catching Rays ink from Catherine Pooler.

You can find the stamps that I used here:

Technique Junkies Gnome Holiday Card

Hello. Tracy Shultz, The Hopeful Crafter here with you to share a holiday card.  Today I have a cute card that features two stamps from Technique Junkies. But, before I give you the details on my card, I need to remind you that today, December 15, 2021 is the last day for the Technique Junkies Inventory Reduction Sale.  Over 200 stamps have been reduced to 35% off plus you can use my code: TJ10Tracy to save an additional 10%  Here's a link to the inventory reduction page: https://techniquejunkies.com/december-inventory-reduction-sale/

The card that I made features the Hanging with My Gnomies Stamp (SD1015) which I colored with red and green Karin markers. I colored the beards with Aqua Shimmer and trimmed with the Deckle Trimmer. I used a domed foam blending tool to ink blend Spruce Catherine Pooler ink along the deckled edges. Technique Junkies now sells Catherine Pooler inks. The background stamp is Baubles (S713), which I stamped with Spruce and Rouge Catherine Pooler Inks. I ink swiped the card base with Catherine Pooler Spruce Ink, thus creating a perfectly matched mat layer.

Spellbinders Guest Creator - New Start Stamp set

Hello! Today I am sharing a card that I made with the "New Start" stamp set from @teamspellbinders Spellbinders. I was asked in October by Yana Smakula if Spellbinders could send me some products to feature on my social media. It was such an honor to be asked, and of course I said yes! Spellbinders sent me two stamps sets. Today I feature the beautiful "New Start" Stamp Set:https://shrsl.com/3arnd
#Spellbinders #neverstopmaking
I created a video on my YouTube channel that you can watch for more details:

I first created a background panel by stamping a piece of pearlescent card stock with the small butterfly stamp in three colors of Versafine Clair Ink: Charming Pink, Warm Breeze and Fantasia. I set that aside to dry.

Next I stamped the butterflies using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover Paper. I used copic markers to color the butterlies. I colored some of them with purple and auqa/teal markers and others I colored with orange and yellow markers.

I also stamped and embossed on vellum. To do this, I stamped using Versamark Ink and I embossed with Black Embossing powder. Then I colored with Copic Markers (always color on the back of the vellum). I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the paper butterflies and I fussy cut the vellum butterflies.

I then used the Fluted Classic Ovals dies from Spellbinders to finish my card:

Here's a photo of my finished card:

Hello! Today we have two cards featuring the Snowflakes Set of 9 stamps from Technique Junkies. But, before I share with you how I created these cards, I want to remind you that it is that time of year again! It is the December Inventory Reduction Sale at Technique Junkies! Don't miss out on this opportunity to save 35% on a wide  selection of stamps. The sale ends on December 14, 2021:

For additional savings of 10% (yes...that is 45% off the Inventory Reduction Sale Stamps), you can use my Coupon Code TJ10Tracy:
Now, here are my cards. I used the Snow Flakes Set of Nine stamp set (#SS098):
I created a video on my YouTube Channel that demonstrates how I created these cards:
My card panels were created using the embossed resist technique. I ink blended my panels using three different colors of Catherine Pooler Inks: Cummerbund, Serenade and Cove Blue. I then stamped the snowflakes (free hand) using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then used domed foam blending tools to ink blend the backgrounds using the three Catherine Pooler inks I mentioned above.  Just as there are no two snowflakes that are exactly the same, there are no two ink blended backgrounds that are exactly the same. I finished the cards using a stitched rectangle die, foam dimensional and gems.  I hope you enjoyed the cards that I made. Thank you for visiting.
