A Colorful Life Designs July 2022 New Release Stencils

The theme for the stencils this month is geometrical designs. I am sharing with you a few of the cards that I created. My first card was created with the Spinning Lines Stencil:

To create this card I used the Spinning Lines Stencil https://shrsl.com/3lep2 and a rainbow of Catherine Pooler Ink Colors including: Rocking Red, Orange Twist, Chiffon, Grass Skirt, Fiesta Blue and Drive-In (purple). I used the Hello sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio's Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil Plate: https://shrsl.com/3le7t  and coordinating die: https://shrsl.com/3le91 foiled with rainbow hot foil https://shrsl.com/3le9q

I used a black A2 Card Base for this card. 

My second card was created with the Whirl Around stencil https://shrsl.com/3lep4 I used two of my favorite colors of Catherine Pooler inks: Cummerbund (light blue) and Serenade (light purple) applied with blending bruhes. I added the thanks sentiment (die cut) from my stash and a few clear sequins. I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle Die: https://shrsl.com/3leas to cut out the ink blended panel. I used a purple A2 card base. 

My third card was created with the Separate Ways Stencil https://shrsl.com/3lepf  I used Pucker Up Catherine Pooler ink and a pink card based. For my sentiment I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Pink Fresh Studio Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil Plate: https://shrsl.com/3le7t and coordinating die: https://shrsl.com/3le91 with rainbow hot foil https://shrsl.com/3le9q

A Colorful Life Designs Graduation Card

I created this card using the Graduate Row and the Scribble Sphere Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. I also used sentiments from the "Congrats Grad" stamp set by A. Jillian Vance Designs.

To create my card, I first used Catherine Pooler Inks (Pucker Up, Catching Rays, Chiffon, Lime Rickey and Cummerbund) to blend the Graduate Row stencil. Using the complimentary mask that comes with the stencil, I covered the graduates in a row to protect them from my next step. I used a foam domed blender tool to ink blend with Catherine Pooler Ink (Serenade) over the Scribble Sphere stencil.

I finished my card by die cutting the panel with the Big and Little Chain Reaction Die by Gina Marie Designs  I then adhered all the layers to an A2 card base created using black card stock.

Ink Blended Iris Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs

Hello, welcome. Today I have a quick card that features the new Iris Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs: https://shrsl.com/3bs3k  This stencil is part of the new January 2022 release.

This card was required by positioning an A2 card panel (4.25" x 5.5") to the right of the panel and ink blending, using a foam domed blending tool, with Catherine Pooler Drive In purple ink. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the panel and adhered it to an A2 card base. I had a die in my stash that says "Just for You."  I cut the background of the sentiment out with a light purple paper. I cut the words out with light purple foil card stock.

All Over Hearts - A Colorful Life Designs

Hello and welcome! Today I have an adorable card featuring the new All Over Hearts Stencil: https://shrsl.com/3bs3w by A Colorful Life Designs.

I created this card by applying Fuchsia Stencil Butter through the All Over Hearts stencil using a plastic palette knife. To keep the stencil in place, I used my Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-cion. I then die cut the panel with a Paper Rose stitched rectangle die. I stamped the cute Dragon stamp using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink using a MISTI stamp alignment tool. I then colored the dragon with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I glued the dragon with Bearly Art Glue, then adhere the panel to a white A2 Card Base (4.25" x 5.5").

Ruffled Rose and Friendship Sentiments

 Happy Saturday! Today I have a beautiful card created with the Ruffled Rose Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, along with the Lavender Friendship Sentiments, Set of 4 from the new release at Technique Junkies stamps.

I created this card by first applying Lovey Lavender Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel through the Ruffled Rose Stencil using a Stencil Pal from Decofoil  When the gel was dry, I used a fancy rectangle die to trim the panel down. I used a piece of purple glitter card stock as a mat below the stenciled panel. 

Next I embossed the sentiment "Happy Birthday Wishes to my Beautiful Friend" from the Technique Junkies Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4. I die cut the sentiment using a rectangle die and rounded the corners with the We R Memory Keepers - Crop-A-Dile - Corner Chomper Tool. I did the same thing with a piece of purple glitter carstock to create a mat layer under the sentiment. All of these layers were adhered using Barley Art Glue to an A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5"). My card base was created using 100 lbs. Accent Opaque Cardstock. Thank you for visiting my blog today!
