Accept What Is

Hello, today I am sharing several beautiful cards that I created with a stamp from the July 2021 Technique Junkies new release. I used the Accept What Is stamp from the July 2021 release to make these cards.

I created a YouTube video explaining how to create these cards:

To create my cards, I used Hammermill Color Copy Plus 80 lbs. paper. I stamped the image using Versamark clear embossing ink followed by Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink. I then used black embossing powder in the card above to emboss the stamped image and sentiment. I used gold embossing powder on the card below. My backgrounds were ink blended using Catherine Pooler inks and domed foam blender tools. I ink blended from top to bottom using these colors: Party Dress, Tutti Frutti, Tiki Torch and Tiara. I used stitched indented rectangle dies to die cut my ink blended panel. I then used the next larger die to cut a piece of foil cardstock and used that as a mat for my ink blended, embossed panel. I used hot pink foil cardstock for the card above and gold foil cardstock for the card below.

Fairies Dancing in the Garden

Hello. Today I have a mini slimline card for the Fairy Stamper Design Team. This whimsical card features several Fairy Hugs Stamps.

To create this card, I used these stamps from Fairy Stamper: Trixie - used twice (FHS-192), Pixie (FHS-193), Dixie (FHS-191), Dance (FHS-199), and Flutter Dust (FHS-201). These are from www.FairyStamper.com

I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the fairies. I used Chiffon and Do-Si-Do inks to ink blend the fairy wings. I also used Nuvo Sparkle Pen to add sparkle to the wings.

The floral frame die cut is from Crafter's Companion. I ink blended on paper using these Catherine Pooler Inks: Peach Bellini, Chiffon and Do-Si-Do. I then die cut the floral frame on this ink blended panel. I used Sweet Sixteen and It's a Boy Catherine Pooler Inks, blender brushes and a cloud stencil from my stash to create light blue and light purple clouds on the background panel. I adhered the die cut frame to the ink blended cloud panel. I glued the fairies on top of the floral frame and added gems to the card. I also added twine cross the top of the card.

Vibrant Butterfly Flourish Backgrounds

Hello, Tracy Shultz, The Hopeful Crafter, here to share several cards that I created with a stamp from the July 2021 Technique Junkies new release. I used the Butterfly Flourish Collage stamp from the July 2021 release to make these cards. I also used the Dream, Hope, Wish Wonderset of four sentiment stamps in the card below. There is a coupon code for 10% off your order.

I created a YouTube video explaining how to create these vibrant backgrounds:
This video provides several additional examples of cards. I created 11 cards in total.

My rainbow colored backgrounds were ink blended using Catherine Pooler inks and domed foam blender tools. The other backgrounds were created with by ink smooshing with re-inkers from Catherine Pooler. The celebrate dies were from my stash.  I sprayed Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Spray from Technique Junkies on the backgrounds to create an iridescent shine on top of the ink.

My final two cards for this blog post use sentiment stamps that were previously released. The sentiment on the card on the left is called "Always Hope"  https://techniquejunkies.com/always-hope/  and the sentiment on the right is from the Love, Faith and Peace Set of 12.  This sentiment says "Hope makes our lives a little brighter" I used watercolor paper, Catherin Pooler re-inkers and plastic wrap to create these Ombre yellow and orange backgrounds.

Flip Flop Memories

Nothing says summertime like flip flops!
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a stamp from the July 2021 Technique Junkies New Release called "Flip Flop Memories" (SDX-191).  This little sentiment really caught my attention. I used to love to wear flip flops, but now find that they are too flat for my feet. However, I would agree that some of the best memories I have were made wearing flip flops!  Especially swimming in the pool in our backyard with my two sisters while growing up and walks on the beach during vacation. It is no wonder this little stamp says so much to my heart, or that I spent some time and energy making cards with this stamp:

If this stamp is on your must have list, please visit www.TechniqueJunkies.com and use my coupon code TJ10Tracy to get 10% off your order.  While you are there, check out the July 2021 "Gotta Have It All" bundle that features all 13 new stamps at a special discounted price.
I made two cards (the one with the blue flip flops with white polka dots above, the the one with the yellow floral flip flops below, made from pattern paper from my stash) during a live streaming broadcast on my YouTube Channel.
Here is a direct link to that live (I start making the cards at the 18 minute mark):
The backgrounds for both cards are from pattern paper from my stash.
I also made a batch of a dozen cards for my Stamp Club. We met on Saturday and everyone loved the sentiment and the flip flops (which were cut from a die in my stash).

Glittery Embossed Peacock

Hello. Today I have a card for the Fairy Stamper Design Team that features the Peacock stamp (FHS-173) and the sentiment Who You Are (FHS-198). These stamps and more are available at www.fairystamper.com

To create this card, I first embossed the peacock with Versa Mark ink. I used blue and mint glitter embossing powder and alternated between the two different colors starting at the bottom of the tail. After heat setting the embossing powder, I used my brother Scan n Cut to cut the peacock out.  For my background, I used a regular household sponge and a sea sponge to create a multi color frame. I used the following colors of Catherine Pooler Ink: Lime Rickey, Something Borrowed, Grape Crush, Mardi Gras and It's a Boy. Catherine Pooler Inks are water reactive, so I used a round tip paint brush to create circles of various sizes in the background. I cut a grassy knoll using a die from my stash. I stamped the sentiment using Versa Fine Clair Nocturne ink.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Have a Hopeful Day!

Technique Junkies July 2021 new release ~ Lighthouses and Sentiments

Hello!  Welcome to the Technique Junkies Blog Hop!  Today we are celebrating the new July 2021 stamp release.  This month's stamps are beautiful!  Make sure you check them out at https://www.techniquejunkies.com
All of the new release stamps are 15% Off through July 8th. You can use my Coupon Code TJ10Tracy for 10% off anything else ordered.

My card uses the Lighthouses #S921 stamp set and a sentiment from the Lighthouse Sentiments #SS136 stamp set. To create my card, I stamped the Lighthouses red rubber stamp onto a piece of vellum with Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink. I let the stamped vellum dry for 24 hours. I used alcohol markers to color on the lighthouses on the back side of the vellum. Coloring on the backside of the vellum assures the ink doesn't smear.

I selected a sentiment from the Lighthouse Sentiment Set that says "You are a Lighthouse in the Storm of Life."  I stamped it with Versafine Embossing Ink then heat embossed it with Cracked Pistachio Distress Embossing Glaze by Ranger.  I used my Deckle Trimmer  to trim the sentiment and used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the vellum panel. I used a side folding A2 card base in light turquoise. I first placed a piece of white card stock on the card base. Then I put the vellum panel on top of the white card stock using liquid glue. This completed  my card.

My second card used the Boring Hair Stamp, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and die cut with a fancy die  from my stash. I used a piece of rainbow stripes pattern paper to frame image. For the background, I stamped the Flowing Zen stamp in a rainbow of colored ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

There is a "Gotta Have it all Bundle" that is discounted for you to save on all the stamps in the release:

Here's a list of all the stamps in the July 2021 new release:
