Travel Theme Card (ModSquad Stamplorations Challenge)

Travel Theme Card (ModSquad Stamplorations Challenge)
I mashed up two stamp companies to make this card. On the left, the sentiment is from Stamplorations. On the right, the suitcases image, is from Unity Stamp Company. I used Copic Alcohol Markers to color the suitcases. I stamped both the sentiment and the suitcases using Versa Fine Claire ink in Pine cone

In addition, I made two more cards.  This one features a globe die from Spellbinders. I used brown fun foam to die-cut the globe.  The sentiment is from Xcut mini sentiment die "Live Life."

My final card for the Modsquad challenge features a background made with a Darice embossing folder of the world. I also used a Stamplorations sentiment "Do More of What You Love."

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Thank your for checking out my Blog. You can also find me on Instagram @Shultz551

Sunset on Summer Castle (with dragons)

I really enjoyed designing this A10 size card featuring two dragons in a sunset sky flying over a castle. Outside the castle is a couple enjoying the sunset.I colored this card using Pan Pastels. The Dragons and the Couple are SVG files that I purchased from Etsy. The stamps is the Tall Castle with Scene from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I created this card for the ModSquadChallenge.com  The theme of the challenge is summer sunrise or sunset. I wonder if the couple realizes there are two dragons flying in the sunset?  Perhaps the dragons belong to the couple?  I would like to think the dragons belong to the couple. Perhaps they are the king and queen!

Sunset Canoe Stamp ModSquadChallenge

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I created a card using a stamp from Whimsy Stamps for the ModSquadChallenge.  I colored the stamped image with my new favorite coloring medium, Pan Pastels.

Here's another picture of my card (this time with a sentiment!):

I made my card using the canoe red rubber cling stamp from Whimsy Stamps. Here's a link to the Whimsy Stamps website: https://whimsystamps.com/

Here are a few more cards I made using Pan Pastels and this beautiful stamp:

Using Pan Pastels to color "Critters"

One of my favorite coloring mediums are Pan Pastels.  They are the same as artist pastels, but they are concentrated and in a pan.  They feel rich and creamy like an expensive foundation powder. You can use small tip applicators from (Sofft company makes them) to color in your cute critter and then if you have the die, you can die cut the critter.  If you don't have the matching die you can fussy cut.  The great thing about Pan Pastels is that you can erase them!  Any mistakes can be removed with a simple eraser!

Here are the Llama cards that I made using my newest pan pastels (grays and neutrals). Here's a link to my you tube video featuring how I created these (and more) cards with Pan Pastels:  https://youtu.be/6nS0VxnAgrE
