Technique Junkies - Where Flowers Bloom

Hello, welcome to my Blog. I'm Tracy Shultz and I'm The Hopeful Crafter. I'm here today with a card featuring a stamp from Technique Junkies called "Where Flowers Bloom" -  part of the April 2021 new release.

I created a video on my YouTube Channel that demonstrates how I made this card:

Here's how I created this card:
1. I positioned my stamp in a stamping platform (Tim Holtz Stamp Platform).
2. I used a fantastix blender brush to color and stamp the leaves with Verdant Ink from Versafine Clair and the Flowers with Charming Pink ink from Versafine Clair.  However, I believe there was still some residual amount of Monarch Versafine Clair ink on the Fantastix blender, because the flowers look more purple than pink. That was OK with me, because purple is my favorite color.
3. I stamped the other words with these Versafine Clair Inks: Summertime, Warm Breeze and Tulip Red.
4. I used the Stitched Indented Rectangle Die to cut both the sentiment and a piece of pattern paper with purple flowers.
5. I adhered the pattern paper to an aqua colored card base and the sentiment panel on top of the pattern paper.
6. I adhered three purple flowers to embellish the card.

Starla Spreading Stardust - Fairy Stamper Design Team

Hello and welcome! Today I have a magical card that features Starla, who is sprinkling Stardust. The stamps that I used are available at the Fairy Stamper Store: https://fairystamper.com/

Here's what I did to create this card:

1. Using Canson coldpress watercolor paper, I created the background using ink smooshing with a variety of Catherine Pooler Inks. I used a sea sponge to stamp blotches of color such as Flirty Fuchsia and Tiki Torch around the vignette.

2. I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp Starla in the middle of the vignette area. I then stamped the Stardust stamp around the vignette with the same ink. I used a glitter brush pen to add sparkle to her wings, hair, and the stars.

3. I used a scrap piece of purple water colored paper (a piece I ink smooshed with Catherine Pooler Inks). I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and heat embossed the sentiment using clear embossing powder

4. I trimmed the sentiment with my deckle trimmer. I adhered the sentiment to a piece of blue foil card stock (also cut with the deckle trimmer). Using the same blue foil cardstock, I adhered the panel to the foil card stock and then to the A2 base (size 4.25" x 5.5").

Blue Bell - Fairy Stamp Design Team

Hello. Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Fairy Stamper Design Team. It is interesting how our art can reflect our feelings and can be an outlet to relieve the stress that we are experiencing in real life. I am thankful to have card making as outlet for creativity and to offer me a way to connect to so many wonderful crafty people.

For this card, you can see Blue Bell (FHS-002) who is on top of the large Rock (FHS-116). The background created with Gel Plate, Brushos and Glitter Gel. Her wings were painted with sparkle aqua brush pens. I also used the Lantern Tree (FHS-083) and Flower Vine (FHS-121).  I used my Scan and Cut to cut out the Large Rock and Blue Bell. I used foam tape on the back of both the rock and the fairy. I also die cut the word "Pray" using a die cut from my stash. I used pop dots to pop this word up. The ink that I used to stamp with was Versafine Clair Nocturne. I used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to ink up the white space (corners around my blue Brusho Backgroud)

If you look closely at her wings, you will see they are brightly colored. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.

I selected this particular fairy because she seems sad, as if she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Having recently just gone through a sad separation from one of my best friends, this card reflects my current mood.

To Create this Card, I used the following Stamp Sets:

Blue Bell: https://fairystamper.com/pages/search-results-page
Rocks:https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-rock-set
Lantern Tree: https://fairystamper.com/pro…/fairy-hugs-stamps-lantern-tree

Fairy Stamper - Ciana is Believing

Hello. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am here with another card for the Fairy Stamper Design Team.

My background was created by ink blending these colors of Catherine Pooler Inks: Serenade, Cummerbund and In the Park. I then stamped Ciana using Catherine Pooler Midnight archival ink. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  I used Hero Arts Unicorn white ink and a finger dauber to sponge the Galaxy Stencil in the background, I added some Unicorn Stickles to her wings to make them sparkle and a few crystal gems in the bottom right hand corner. I used a corner chomper to round the edges. The mat layer is a teal glitter paper. I adhrered this to an A2 Card Base (4.25" x 5.5").

Fairy Hugs - Fairy Stamper Design Team Announcement!

Hello! Welcome to my blog.  I am super excited to announce that today is my premier as a new member of the Fairy Stamper Design Team! Each Thursday at 3 p.m. I will have a new card on my blog and on the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook Page. I will also have a new video each Saturday on the Fairy Stamper You Tube Page. I created today's card using Tokara from Fairy Hugs Stamps. https://fairystamper.com/pages/search-results-page?q=tokara

First, I used Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink to stamp Tokara, a silhouette stamp.

I stamped only Tokara's fairy wings using Versamark Ink. I sprinkled clear sparkly embossing powder and heat embossed, giving her wings lots of twinkle  I used a brush point Fantastix pen to apply Versafine Claire Warm Breeze ink to her wings, giving them a pretty blue color. Because we can never have enough sparkle, I also used a clear sparkle brush pen to apply an overlay of clear sparkle on top of the twinkly wings.

Next, I stamped the Lily Tree from the Fairy Lily Stamp set by Fairy Stamper: https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-fairy-lily
I used Versafine Claire Green Oasis ink for the stalk and Summertime (orange) for the flowers. The Fairy Lily Stamp set comes with an individual Fairy Flower, which I stamped in Tokara's hands. In the background I stamped two little butterflies. I used Summertime and Cheerful Inks from Versafine Clair to stamp the butterfly.
The little butterfly is from another Fairy Hugs stamp, Sivelle: https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-sivelle  Next, I used a piece of torn paper to create the clouds in the background. The ink I used for the clouds is Cummerbund, Catherine Pooler's new blue colored ink. I used another piece of torn paper to create the grassy knoll that Tokara is kneeling on. My ink color for that step is Catherine Pooler's In the Park. Catherine Pooler Inks are available here: http://shop.catherinepoolm?aff=111 Finally, I used the Fairy Hugs Stamp Hanging Vines https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-hanging-vines to stamp some foliage on top of the grassy knoll. I turned the stamp sideways and stamped the vines with Versafine Claire Rain Forest Ink.

Finally I used an oval torn edge die to die cut a window out of navy colored card base. This oval creates a focal point by surrounding Tokara in a frame.

including this one:

Sentiment "Difficult Time" (SDX156)  by TJ
Background: PanPastels

I created a video featuring this awesome new stamp on my
YouTube Channel that you should check out:

This card was created with the Cloud Edger Stencil and PanPastels.
The Sentiment is "Dream without Fear" from TJ (SDX154)

Here are several backgound panels that I created with PanPastels.

The Sentiment that I stamped on the card above is part of the two part "Difficult Time" (SDX156)  sentiment set by TJ

I used Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink or Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink to ink the stamps and sentiments. After I stamped my sentiments, I sprayed the panels with Kyron to prevent the PanPastels from rubbing off the paper. .I mounted all the panels onto black card bases.
