Hello and welcome! I am super excited today to have been invited by Spellbinders to participate in their 20th Birthday Celebration by creating projects using their brand new Birthday Celebration Collection.

My card features the gorgeous new hot foil plate: So Many Candles (GLP-323) and a sentiment from the new Birthday Unboxing Glimmer hot foil plates (GLP-324).
This hot foil plate measures 5.75" x 3.75" inches and is great for an A2 Card (4.25" x 5.5") or a Mini Slimline Card (3.5" x 6.5").  My card is an A2 sized card. To create my card I used Spellbinders Rainbow Hot Foil (GLF-042)
After hot foiling, I trimmed the So Many Candles panel with Spellbinders Essential Rectangles Cutting Die (S5-411).  I used the dotted rectangle die. I adhered the die cut panel to a piece of 4" x 5.25" gold foil card stock. Then, I adhered the layered panels to a navy blue A2 card (4.25" x 5.5") base.
I used Spellbinders Rainbow Hot Foil and the new  Birthday Unboxing Glimmer hot foil plates (GLP-324). They consist of two Happy Birthday Sentiments and seven mini or sub sentiments as well as two cutting dies to trim the sentiments. For my card, I used the scripty Happy Birthday hot foiled sentiment.
I used foam tape to pop the sentiment up from the card. Here's a photo of my finished card:
Make sure you check out the new Birthday Celebration collection from Spellbinders. The collection includes new stamps, dies and ephemera in addition to the hot foil items. Be sure to follow my blog and my YouTube channel as I will be posting more of my creations from this collection over the next few weeks. Thank you very much for visiting my blog today.

Technique Junkies - Life's Little Blessings

Hello! Today I created a card featuring a great stamp from Technique Junkies called Life's Little Blessings.  This red rubber, cling mounted stamp from Technique Junkies depicts the sentiment: "Be Grateful Every Day for Life's Little Blessings." The saying is surrounded by delicate wheat shafts. This stamp is a great focal image for inspirational, encouragement and friendship cards, along with a variety of other cards and projects. If you are interested in this or any other stamps, stencils or Shimmering Bliss Sprays from Technique Junkies, be sure to use my discount code TJ10Tracy for 10% off your order!

This card was easy to create. I ink blended on a piece of white Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover Stock 100lbs. I used my blender brushes to ink blend this panel. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in these colors (from top to bottom):

I stamped the image onto the ink blended panel with VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I used a rectangle die to trim the stamped image, then layered it on a rectangle of gold cardstock, also cut with a rectangle die from my stash. I then used the Sizzix 3D Embossing Folder Elegant to emboss a piece of gold foil cardstock. I used this as my final layer then adhered the panels to an A2 top fold white card base.

Flip Flop Memories

Nothing says summertime like flip flops!
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a stamp from the July 2021 Technique Junkies New Release called "Flip Flop Memories" (SDX-191).  This little sentiment really caught my attention. I used to love to wear flip flops, but now find that they are too flat for my feet. However, I would agree that some of the best memories I have were made wearing flip flops!  Especially swimming in the pool in our backyard with my two sisters while growing up and walks on the beach during vacation. It is no wonder this little stamp says so much to my heart, or that I spent some time and energy making cards with this stamp:

If this stamp is on your must have list, please visit www.TechniqueJunkies.com and use my coupon code TJ10Tracy to get 10% off your order.  While you are there, check out the July 2021 "Gotta Have It All" bundle that features all 13 new stamps at a special discounted price.
I made two cards (the one with the blue flip flops with white polka dots above, the the one with the yellow floral flip flops below, made from pattern paper from my stash) during a live streaming broadcast on my YouTube Channel.
Here is a direct link to that live (I start making the cards at the 18 minute mark):
The backgrounds for both cards are from pattern paper from my stash.
I also made a batch of a dozen cards for my Stamp Club. We met on Saturday and everyone loved the sentiment and the flip flops (which were cut from a die in my stash).

Fairy Stamper Hugs - Sivelle and the Full Moon

Sivelle is chasing butterflies under the light of the full moon while several little fairies flutter along. Stamps used by Tracy Shultz, the Hopeful Crafter, include: Sivelle (FHS-098), Moon Tree (FHS-054), Full Moons (FHS-053), Condo Dwellers (FHS-060) and Condo Dwellers 2 (FHS-108) and are available at https://fairystamper.com/collections/fairy-hugs-stamps

To create this card, I followed these steps:
1. Ink blended Distress Oxide inks to create the background. The colors were (from top to bottom): Faded Jeans, Stormy Skies, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord.
2. Sprayed several droplets of water onto the card panel. Distress Oxides ink will react with water. Then sprayed a layer of Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Spray on top.
3. Stamped all images with Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink and used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut them out.
4. Ink blended using the following Distress Oxide inks: Antique Linen on the Moon; Vintage Photo on the Tree; and Squeezed Lemonade on the tiny fairies.
5. Colored the wings of the Fairy Sivelle, the tiny butterflies and the skirt of the fairy using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. Colored her hair with Pentel Sparkle Pop Gold Pen.
6. Glued all the images to make my scene on the ink blended card panel.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Have a hopeful day!
