Hello! Tracy Shultz, the Hopeful Crafter here today with a beautiful natured themed card featuring two Technique Junkies stamps from the May 2021 release: Plant Smiles and Secret Garden.

To create this card, I followed these steps:
1. Using a piece of 4" x 5.25" white card stock, I used watercolor brush tip markers (Dual Art brand from Amazon) to color the background stamp Secret Garden (S903) . This technique is very easy and it allows me to color each section of the stamp a different color.
2. I used three colors of Catherine Pooler inks to stamp the sentiment Plant Smiles (SD1084). The colors of ink that I used to create this Ombre effect are: Aquatini, Something Borrowed and Flirty Fuchsia.
3. I used the Deckle Trimmer to trim the sentiment. I popped the sentiment up on foam tape and adhered it to the Secret Garden card panel.
4. I used a side folding  A2 card base, size 4.25" 5.5" in Kelly Green color. I love the way the color of this card base matches the green color marker that I used for the background stamp.

Here's a closer look at all the stamps in the May 2021 release:

Hello. This afternoon I have a Mermazing Card featuring several new stamps from Fairy Stamper Hugs for the Fairy Stamp Design Team.

Just chillin' in her underwater hideout is Mailila the Mermaid(FHS-152), seated on the Rock Formation (FHS-143). Framing her are various stamps including: Wiggles (FHS-154), Chess Mushrooms (FHS-160), Twisted Seaweed (FHS-163), Fan Coral (FHS-144) and Fish School (FHS-158), all by Fairy Stamper Hugs. These, and many more, can be found at www.fairystamper.com The background was created with brushos on a gel plate. The mermaid is colored with Sparkle Pop Gel Pens.

I used a corner rounder to round the corners on the panel and the mat layer, which is a piece of blue glitter card stock. I used foam tape to pop up the rock and the mermaid.

Adulting is Overrated - Technique Junkies Design Team

Hello!  Tracy Shultz, The Hopeful Crafter, sharing a Technique Junkies stamp that I paired with a stencil from a Colorful Life Designs. The stamp is called "Adulting is Overrated," a fun and snarky stamp that can be used with so many different cards. I used this stamp with the "Rippling Squares" stencil. Both the stamp and the stencil are available at www.TechniqueJunkies.com  The stamp is part of the new May 2021 release: https://techniquejunkies.com/may-2021-new-stamp-release/

I created the card first by ink blending the stencil using various green colored inks from Catherine Pooler (Lime Rickey, Green Tea & Eucalyptus). I trimmed the panel with the Deckle Trimmer, then layered it on top of a mat of Spring Green cardstock, also trimmed with the Deckle Trimer (mat layer was 4"x 5.25"). I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it with the Deckle Trimmer. I used green ink to ink blend just the edges of the sentiment strip. I then layered the sentiment on a mat of the same Spring Green cardstock (Deckle Trimmed, of course) and used foam tape to mount the sentiment onto the lower right corner of the card panel.

This would be a fun card to share with a friend who is tired of adulting! Here are the links to the stamp and stencil:

Rainbow Forest Scene - Fairy Stamper Hugs

Hello. Welcome to my Blog. I created this colorful card for the Fairy Stamper Design Team

I used Catherine Pooler Inks to ink blend a bright rainbow background.
I used Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink for the stamped images.

I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the Moose and the tiny fairies.
I used foam tape behind the Moose.
I used Catherine Pooler Ink "Limencello" to ink up the edges of the tiny fairies
I splattered mica water color paints in the background. Catherine Pooler Inks are water reactive.

To create this card, I used the following Fairy Hugs Stamps:  Moose Set (FHS-087), Condo Dwellers (FHS-060), Lantern Tree (FHS-083) and Bulrushes (FHS-072). All available at www.fairystamper.com

I Spy a Mermaid!

Hello, this is Tracy Shultz, the Hopeful Crafter. Thank you for visiting my blog today. I made a card  for the Fairy Hugs Design Team using stamps from the new - May 2021 - Fairy Stamper release. You can find all of these stamps at https://fairystamper.com/

For my card, I wanted to offer a peak through the window (maybe a porthole?) where we see the Fairy Hugs Stamp Doria the Mermaid floating by!  Her tail is embossed with Wow Blue Pearl Embossing Powder. Around her I stamped the Twisted Seaweed stamp using Versafine Clair Inks in Twilight and Rainforest. I also stamped the tentacle from the Jellyfish stamp called Wiggles. I used Versafine Clair Warm Breeze and Twilight Inks for Wiggles. I also added some extra dots  or "bubbles" with the Warm Breeze Ink. My outer section of the card is the actual card base, with a circle die cut out of the middle. All around this circle I stamped the Fan Coral in alternating Versamark Inks of Twilight and Rainforest.
Inside my card I stamped the Serenity Sentiment and the Fan Coral stamp using VersafineClair Twilight Ink color.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Here are links to all the Fairy Stamper sites, including the Fairy Hugs Facebook page where you can find lots of wonderful inspiration from other Design Team members and fans.
