Crafty Collab - Fall and Sequins

#collectedcraftycollabs #collectedcraftycollabshop
Hello.  Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I am part of the Monthly Themed Hop Group. Each month we use up supplies that we have "squirreled away."  The theme this month is Halloween/Fall and Sequins. I decided to use a stamp set from 2014 by Stampendous called "Cling PenPattern Leaves Set."  I created a video on my YouTube channel that shows how I made these cards:
Here's the stamp set I found in my stash called PenPattern Leaves.
Look at the gorgeous patterns in these leaves:

To create the first card panel, I used distress oxide inks. I used my makeup blending brush from the dollar tree to blend circles with these colors: Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Candied Apple, Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo and Twisted Citron.

As I was cleaning up the ink on my Tim Holtz Glass Media mat, I decided I would spray a little bit of water with my distress sprayer and ink smoosh another card panel onto the ink that was left behind to create a second background. I was pleased with how this panel looked and probably like this background more than the ink blended background.
Here's a photo of me creating the ink smooshed card panel:

Next, I started with the panel that was Ink smooshed. Making sure the panel was 100% dry (I used my heat tool). I then used my antistatic bag to dust the panels. I then placed the panel inside my MISTI stamp positioning tool and stamped the leaves using embossing ink. I heat embossed the leaves with gold embossing powder. I repeated the same process with the panel that was ink blended.

To finish the cards, I ink blended Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of white scrap paper, creating custom colored paper. I dried that ink blended paper with my heat tool. I pulled a sentiment from another stamp set, and stamped it twice onto the custom colored paper (once for each card). I used the same gold embossing powder on the sentiments. I used my corner rounder on the sentiment squares and popped the sentiments up with foam dots.

Using glossy accent as my glue, I added three orange sequins to the card panels. I then adhered the card panels onto A2 sized, top folding, landscape orientation, brown card bases.

Here's the card with the ink blended panel:

And here is the card with the ink smooshed background:

Some close up photos of the cards (which one is your favorite?):

Silhouette Moose Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Design Team

Hello. Today I have three cards that I created with the Silhouette Moose Stamp from Blue Knight Rubber stamps.
I have a YouTube Video demonstrating how I made my cards:
/>

My first card features two of the new stamps released from Blue Knight. This card was created with both the Silhouette Moose and the Cattails stamp. This is a perfect all occasion card, but it makes a great masculine card. I look forward to making many more of these with different colors of PanPastel shading for the background.
Here's how I made this card:
1. I created my background with PanPastels (Colors: Yellow, Orange, Red and Magenta).
2. Using my MISTI, I stamped the Cattails stamp with Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink
3. I removed the Cattails stamp from my MISTI and stamped the medium moose from the Silhouette Moose Stamp set using the same ink. Taking care to make sure his feet are grounded and he is not floating above the silhouette ground.
4.  I placed the image in my splat box and sprayed it with hairspray to seal the PanPastels
5. I trimmed the panel to fit on top of a white A2 Card Panel.

My second card is a Christmas Card. I combined the Silhouette Moose with the "Merry Christmas" Sentiment from the Winter Cardinals Stamp set.
Here's how I made this card:
1 Using my MISTI, I stamped the medium moose from the Silhouette Moose Stamp set using Versafine Claire Nocturne Black ink onto a piece of white, 110 lb. cardstock.
2. Using my Brother ScanNCut, I cut the moose out.
3. I stamped the moose with embossing ink. I applied gold embossing powder. I melted the embossing powder with my heat gun.
4. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink onto black cardstock. I covered the sentiment with gold embossing powder. I melted the embossing powder with my heat gun. I used my guillotine trimmer to trim down the sentiment.
5. Using a circle die, I cut a circle with black card stock. I adhered the moose to the center of the circle.
6. The buffalo plaid patterned paper was from a 6x6 pad of pattern paper from my stash. The buffalo plaid is red and white with red glitter. I placed this panel onto a piece of black cardstock mat paper and then adhered it to a white A2 card base.

My final card again uses the medium moose. This time, I stamped the moose onto a piece of paper that features a beautiful winter scene
How I made this card:
1. I trimmed the winter scene paper down to 4 x 5.25 and used Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink to stamp the medium moose onto the winter paper.
2. I used piece of holographic silver foil cardstock as a mat. I adhered the panels together and then affixed them onto a top folding portrait orientation A2 size cardbase.

Owl, Pumpkin and Mouse - Hoot and Squeak Createful Heart Design

Hello! Welcome to my Blog.

Today I am sharing a layered card featuring the super cute " Hoot and Squeak" Digital Stamp from Createful Heart Designs:   https://marketplace.zibbet.com/createful-heart-design/hoot-n-squeak-digital-image

This is my One Year Anniversary as a member of the Design Team for Createful Heart Design, a digital stamp and digital paper company and the Createful Heart Design Challenge Blog.

I created this card by following these steps:

 1. Printed the image using my inkjet printer.

2. Colored the image with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.

3. Used a circle die to die cut the image.

4. Selected Leaf Pattern Paper to layer beneath the colored image. Layered that on top of an orange mat and brown card base (size 5.5” x 5.5”)

5. Embellished with four yellow leaves in each of the four corners of the card.

The owners of Createful Heart Design, Mary, and her husband Mark draw all the digital stamps by hand and Mary designs the digital papers on her computer. It is exciting to be a part of this design team and I hope that you will check out their online store. Here is a link to the online shop:

Hippo Hooray - Miss Ink Stamps - Not 2 Shabby Design Team

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card for the Not 2 Shabby Design Team featuring the adorable Miss Ink Stamps "Hippo Hooray" Stamp set.

To create this card, I stamped the images using Brutus Monroe Raven Detail Ink. My paper was Accent 110 lb.  I colored the images using Ohuhu alcohol markers. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the images out. I then adhered the cut out images onto a piece of pattern paper using Glossy Accents as my glue. I used a piece of vellum and cut a wave border across the top to represent water. These hippos are wading in the water. The sentiment was heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Raven embossing powder.  The finishing touch was the Stickles in Sea Glass color that I used along the top of the vellum.

Adding "Rain" to your Card - Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

Hello and Welcome to my Blog! I am so excited today to be back again with another beautiful stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. I made two cards from the "Take Shelter" stamp set. This is a brand new stamp set that is part of the September 2020 release.

I created a video on my You Tube Channel that details how I made the card:

To create this card, I followed these steps:

1. Cut a piece of Bristol Smooth paper to size 4" x 5.25"

2. Using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Cloud Stencil, and gray Pastels, I created the cloud background. I used Paynes Gray, Neutral Gray and Neutral Gray tint.

3. Using the rolling hills on the cloud stencil, and black PanPastels, I created a little hill for the image to be stamped upon (grounding the image).

4. Using my stamp positioning tool, I stamped the image with Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink. I re-stamped the image a few times to get the desired depth of color.

5. I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze to create the rain on card panel. I did this by making flicking motions at an angle. Using Krylon Mat sealant, I sprayed the panel to seal in the the PanPastels.

6. I finished the card by rounding the top corners with my corner rounded. I then adhered the panel at a black mat and a white card base with Art Glitter Glue.

My second card, features a combination of two Blue Knight Rubber Stamps, both the Take Shelter Stamp and the Covered Bridge Stamp.

To create this card, I used my stamp positioning tool to stamp the smaller of the two silhouettes in the Take Shelter stamp set on to piece of 4.25" x 5.5" Neenah Solar White 100 lb card stock. I stamped the same image onto a piece of masking paper and fussy cut the imagine.  I covered the image on my card stock with the masking paper image and then stamped the Covered Bridge stamp with Brutus Monroe Raven Detail Ink. This ink is alcohol marker friendly.  I left my stamp in the stamp positioning tool so that I could double stamp the Take Shelter image at the end of my process. I colored the Covered Bridge Stamped Image with alcohol markers, then returned my card panel to my stamp positioning tool when I stamped it again, using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink to get a dark impression. I then trimmed .25" off all four sides of the panel and matted the panel onto a piece of red card stock then adhered the finished project to a white A2 card base.
