Hello. Thank you for visiting my Blog. I started making hand made cards in January 2018 and now I create cards almost every day. I love making cards to give away to other people. When I discovered card making it lit a spark within me that drives me to always learn new things and make new cards every chance I get.I live in Western Pennsylvania with my husband and my son and our dog Karley, who is a mix between a yellow lab and a pit bull.
Hello. Today I have two cards featuring the new Panda Bamboo stamp set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This stamp is part of the new July 2025 release. For more detailed information, check out the video on my YouTube Channel:
For my first card, I used a piece of Northern Lights Designer Paper by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. These papers are 4.25" x 5.5" (A2 card size) and there are six designs (five designs on front, one on back). There are 25 two-sided cards in each paper pack. I stamped the Panda Bamboo stamp onto a piece of the Northern Lights Designer Paper. I then used a white gel pen to color in the panda and to draw highlights on the bamboo leaves. I stamped the bottom right-hand corner with the leaves from the Silhouette Corner Foliage Stamp. Finally, I colored the shaft of the bamboo plant with a green maker.
For my second card, I colored the background with Pan Pastels using the Sunrise Sunset Palette. I stamped the Panda Bamboo Stamp onto the Pan Pastel Background and colored the panda with a white gel pen. I stamped the bottom right-hand corner with the leaves from the Silhouette Corner Foliage Stamp. I finished the panel by coloring the bamboo shaft with a green marker. Pan Pastels require a setting spray, and I always use hairspray (a light spray on the finished card panel). This helps prevent the Pan Pastel colors from rubbing off.

Hello. Today I have two cards created with the newly released Bamboo Border stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This stamp set is part of the new July 2025 release. I created a video on my YouTube channel with details on how I made the cards featured on today's blog post:
I created my first card by first ink blending the background blue with ink, except for the moon, which I created with the medium circle from the Sun/Moon Stencil Set which I used as a mask. After ink blending the background, I splattered the panel with metallic pearl water color paint using a fan brush. I then removed the mask and used the stencil to ink blend the circle with light gray ink for the moon. I then placed the Bamboo Borders back-to-back and stamped them over top of the moon. I used a white gel pen to highlight the stamped image. The sentiment is from the Did You Know One Line Sentiments Stamp Set from Blue Knight. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my second card, I stamped the Bamboo Borders in green ink (Shady Lane by Versafine Clair) repeatedly across the 4.25" x 5.5" piece of green cardstock. I die cut that out with a stitched rectangle die. I then stamped the sentiment from Bamboo Borders onto a piece of cream-colored card stock. I matted the sentiment and the card panel with black card stock. Then I placed the matted sentiment left of center on the card panel. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

New Fence and Daisies Stamp Set-Using Derwent Watercolor Pencils
Hello. Today I have three cards created with the newly released Fence and Daisies Stamp Set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This stamp is part of the new July 2025 release. I created a video on my YouTube Channel with details on how I made the cards featured on today's blog post:
For my first card, I colored the stamped image with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. I then stamped a rabbit from the Forest Animals Racoon stamp set in the lower right-hand corner. I used PanPastels and the Cloud Stencil to create the sky. I stamped the sentiment onto the panel. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my second card, I used the Sunrise Sunset PanPastel set to create a sunny background. Before applying the PanPastels, I used a circle mask from the Sun/Moon Stencil & Stamp Thru Set to mask my Sun. Next, I stamped the Fence and Daisies image onto the panel and the fox from the Forest Animals Fox set. I added branches from the tree found in the Day at the Lake stamp dry. I then stamped the small eagle from the Eagle and Foliage set. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my third card, I used the Day and Night PanPastel set to create a nighttime scene. Before applying the PanPastels, I used a circle mask from the Sun/Moon Stencil & Stamp Thru Set to mask the moon. Next, I stamped the Fence and Daisies image onto the panel and the fox from the Forest Animals Fox set. I added branches from the tree found in the Day at the Lake stamp dry. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
Here's a list of the products that I used to create today's cards:
Bird's Song Stamp Set and Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Designer Paper
Hello. I am excited to be posting several cards that I created as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Today's cards feature the new Bird's Song stamp set. This stamp set includes three stamps: One the grass and bird scene, and two individual sentiments.
Please check out my YouTube Channel for a video on how I made the cards featured on today's blog post:
For my first card, I stamped the scene using Archival Ink onto a piece of paper from the Stormy Skies Designer Paper pack from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. The sentiment is from Bible Verses 2 stamp set from Blue Knight. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my second card, I stamped the scene using Archival Ink onto the reverse side of paper from the Stormy Skies Designer Paper pack from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This reverse side of the paper features a beautiful blue sky with clouds and a rainbow. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my third card, I selected another piece of paper from the Stormy Skies Designer Paper pack from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This paper features an atmospheric background with an orange, gold and bluish sky with lightening. I stamped the scene with the Bird's Song stamp using Archival Ink and then stamped one of the sentiments. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
For my fourth and final card, I used the Blue Knight Pan Pastels Day and Night set and the Cloud Stencil to create my background. I stamped the scene and the sentiment using Archival Ink and added two branches from the SilhouetteBirds and Branches stamp set from Blue Knight. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and then mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock. To finish the card, I adhered the matted panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
