Pine Tree Trio - Pan Pastels and Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

Hello. I am excited to share two cards for the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Design Team featuring the Pine Tree Trio Stamp Set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This stamp set is part of the July 2025 new release, and it features three separate trio silhouette pine tree stamps size small, medium and large. I created a video on my YouTube Channel that demonstrates how I made these two cards:

For my first card, I used PanPastels to create the background. I blended Diarylide Yellow Tint, Diarylide Yellow, Orange, Red Iron Oxide and Magenta to create this sunrise scene. I stamped the largest of the Pine Tree Trio stamps in the bottom loft corner. I stamped the medium Silhouette Moose in the bottom right corner and the foliage from the Eagle and Foliage stamp set in the top right corner and across the top. I also stamped some grass from the Silhouette Grasses stamp set along the bottom of the panel. Pan Pastels require a setting spray, and I always use hairspray (a light spray on the finished card panel). This helps prevent the Pan Pastel colors from rubbing off. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and adhered the panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

For my second card, I used a piece of Designer Paper from the Day Sky paper set from Blue Knight. This card is positioned in the landscape orientation. I used a piece of acetate to create a rolling hill stencil. Using this hand cut stencil, I used a domed foam ink blender and I ink blended Spruce Ink from Catherine Pooler to create the rolling hill. I then pounced the ink dauber to create grass. I stamped the large Pine Tree Trio stamp on the left and stamped the medium Pine Tree Trio stamp twice on the right (going up the hill). I stamped the hiker from the Silhouette Sportsmen Stamp Set and an Eagle from the Silhouette Tree and Eagles set. I trimmed 1/8" around the panel and adhered the panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
