Hello. Thank you for visiting my Blog. I started making hand made cards in January 2018 and now I create cards almost every day. I love making cards to give away to other people. When I discovered card making it lit a spark within me that drives me to always learn new things and make new cards every chance I get.I live in Western Pennsylvania with my husband and my son and our dog Karley, who is a mix between a yellow lab and a pit bull.
I created a video and posted it on my YouTube Channel demonstrating how to make these cards:
To create these cards, I used Pixie Spray to spray the back of the stencil. This is a low tack adhesive, available at Technique Junkies, gently holds stencils in place but won't tear paper. I used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink to ink blend the Drippy Moon Stencil. Then, I stamped the Sentiments on white cardstock and trimmed them with my deckle trimmer. I had some dies in my stash that I used to accent the stamped panels. I used some ink to ink blend the edges of the stamped panels. I used foam tape to adhere the panels to the stenciled card base, then adhered the finished card panel to a black A2 card base.
Hello! Do you love the popular Zombie TV show? I sure do! I was super excited to see this new stamp from Technique Junkies called Zombies from the September 2021 New Release. I paired it with the Bloody Halloween sentiment, also from the September 2021 new release.
1. Using Masking paper, I cut a circle out and placed the masking paper (not the circle itself but the paper around the circle) down on an A2 Card Panel (Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover paper, size 5.5" x 4.25")
2. Using Catherine Pooler ink in Black Jack and a foam domed blender tool, I lightly ink blended the circle to create a moon. I removed the masking paper.
3. Next, I used the new Simple Ground Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs to create the ground that the mummies are standing on. I used Catherine Pool Black Jack ink to ink blend the ground.
4. I stamped the Zombie stamp with Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink.
5. I used Pan Pastels and the Cloud Edger Stencil to create a spooky sky in purple and grey.
6. I stamped the Bloody Halloween sentiment with Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink then fussy cut the sentiment. I used foam tape to pop the sentiment up on the card panel.
7. I used a foam domed blending tool to ink blend the edges of the panel and then adhered it to an A2 card base.

For my two cards, I used ink blending and emboss resist ink blending. I created a video on my YouTube Channel demonstrating these techniques:
To create this card, I ink blended several different colors of ink onto a piece of 4.25" x 5" white Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover paper (100 lbs.). Then I stamped the Pile of Leaves stamp in Versamark Ink and heat embossed the stamped image with Nuvo gold glitter embossing powder. I used an Autumn Sentiment Die from my stash and adhered the panel to a gold card base.
To create this card, I embossed the stamp with black embossing powder, then ink blended with orange and yellow ink. I used black ink to distress the edges. I die cut the the sentiment Halloween from a die in my stash and adhered to a black A2 top folding card base.
