Rainbow Ducky St. Patrick's Day Card

Hello! Today I am sharing a slimline card that features a rainbow assortment of rubber duckies, a pot of gold and lots of shamrocks!  My card features several stamps and a digital background from Kitchen Sink Stamps. You can order from Kitchen Sink Stamps by using my links:

I used the following Kitchen Sink Stamps products:
  • Just Ducky
  • Lucky Shamrocks Printable Background (I used the Large Clover printable)
  • St. Patrick's Day 4 Ducky & Teddy
To start, I cut several ducks, hats and a few pots of gold  using the complimentary SVG cut files. These files are free at the time of purchasing your Kitchen Sink Stamps if  you add them to your cart. These save on the need to purchase die cuts. I used my Scan and Cut, but the SVG files work with other electronic machines such as Critic, Baby Joy, etc.

I stamped all the duckies first, using these inks from Catherine Pooler for each color:

Pink Ducky:

Layer 1: It's a Girl

Layer 2: Be Mine

Layer 3: Party Dress

Layer 4: Pucker Up

Blue Ducky:

Layer 1: Tranquil

Layer 2: Oh Boy!

Layer 3: Cummerbund

Layer 4: Stone Blue

Green Ducky:

Layer 1: Minted

Layer 2: Hot Tub

Layer 3: Seafoam

Layer 4: In the Park

Purple Ducky

Layer 1: Serene

Layer 2: Sixteen Candles

Layer 3: Serenade

Layer 4: Serenade a second time

Yellow Ducky

Layer 1: Chiffon

Layer 2: Limoncello

Layer 3: Tiara

Layer 4: Sauna

Next, I stamped the Hat SVG so that each Ducky would have their own leprechaun hat.

Hats:

Layer 1: Melon Ice

Layer 2: Garden Party

Layer 3: Lime Rickey

Layer 4: Grass Skirt

I also stamped the Pot of Gold SVG file with these inks:

Pot of Gold:

Layer 1: Twilight

Layer 2: Black Jack

Layer 3: Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

To create the gold coins inside the Pot of Gold, I used a paper punch and punched about a dozen little gold foil circles. I then glued them on top of the Pot of Gold.

After I finished all the stamping, I used the mini Minc machine to foil the Large Clover digital background with Glitter Stars Lime foil (from H&H Signs (Toner Foil): https://www.hhsignsupply.com/productcart/pc/Textile-Foils-c853.htm?idaffiliate=154)

I slid the Melon Ice ink pad direct to the paper and then heat embossed the sentiment on that piece of paper. I then cut the sentiment with the Deckle Trimmer.

To finish my slim line card, I cut a piece of gold foil card stock using a scalloped edge rectangle die. I also die cut the foiled background using a stitched rectangle die. I popped up the duckies, leprechaun hats, and the pot of gold with foam tape.
