This Parcel & Post Mailbox Etched Dies is part of the Parcel & Post Collection. There are 15 thin metal cutting dies. Also included are floral accents and even an envelope die. In the card above I paired it with the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. For the background, I used the Crossed Lines Cardfront Glimmer Hot Foil Plate, foiled with Silver Glimmer Hot Foil. I used a variety of glitter paper and foil card stock to cut out the floral accents. 

                      For my second card I used the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Etched Dies. This set includes a candy cane, holly berries & leaves, candy and a decorative bow. I used the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate for the sentiment on the mailbox. I used the Crossed Lines Cardfront Glimmer Hot Foil Plate, foiled with Silver Glimmer Hot Foil for my background. I used a variety of glitter paper and foil card stock to cut out the candy canes and other accents.

Spellbinders Solid Arch & Blooming Tree hot foil plates Christmas in July #spellbinders #neverstopmaking #glimmer #hotfoil

 Hello. I have a new card that was created using several Spellbinders Hot Foil products. 

To create my card, I first hot foiled the Blooming Tree Hot Foil Plate & Die set (the Christmas Tree, above) https://shrsl.com/3mpct onto off white pearlescent cardstock using Green Glimmer Hot Foil: https://shrsl.com/3mpds I then hot foiled the floral accents including the flower, leaf and sprig with Rainbow Glimmer Hot Foil: https://shrsl.com/3mpdz

 

I hot foiled the Glimmer Essential Solid Arch Hot Foil Plate: https://shrsl.com/3mpcj using Glimmer Hot Foil Roll Starburst: https://shrsl.com/3mpdv  This hot foil looks like a three dimensional kaleidoscope. I trimmed the arch shape using scissors. 

Finally, I die cut the Merry Christmas sentiment (from a previously released and retired Spellbinders set) using gold foil card stock.

I adhered the Blooming Tree to the Hot Foiled arch using foam tape for added dimension. I adhered all the components of the card to a red pearlescent card base.

To create my cards I used Catherine Pooler Inks in these colors: Pucker Up, Catching Rays and Chiffon. I masked a column off to the left side of my card stock and ink blended using foam domed blending tools. I then removed the mask and stamped the Field Flowers on top using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I then stamped the sentiment in the white space using the same Nocturne Ink.  I used a Torn Edge Rectangle Die to trim the panel and adhered one to a yellow card base and another to an orange card base.

The Best of my Life

Hello. Today I have a card using the new "The Best of my Life" stamp from the July 2022 Technique Junkies new release. This stamp has an empowering sentiment. To create this card, I stamped using Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink onto Canson Cold Press watercolor paper. I colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used some patterned paper with purses from my stash as well as purple geometric pattern paper as mat layers. I trimmed the stamped image and used purple cardstock as the mat layer.

Inside the card, I placed a narrow piece of the same purple geometric pattern paper on the inside the card.

Spellbinders New Release Dies by Becca Feeken #spellbinders #neverstopmaking

Hello! Today I have three cards created for Spellbinders using dies from the new "The Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken." You can find all the dies in this new collection here: https://shrsl.com/3lng5

I created my first card with the "You are a Blessing Etched Dies."  For more information on this set, use this link: https://shrsl.com/3lncx  This set of eight thin metal cutting dies creates a sweet floral motif that can be framed around your choice of sentiment in the set. To create this card, I used rose gold foil card stock to cut out all the words and the floral motif. I used ivory cardstock as my card panel and card base. This card is not complicated, but I think it looks classy. 

 

I created my second card using the Happy Occasion Words Etched Dies from The Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken. It covers fun occasions such as New Year’s, Anniversary, Holidays, Birthday, Christmas and even one with Happy Everything! This set of 11 thin metal cutting dies helps you celebrate these events. There is also a long tag shape to frame the sentiments.  For more information, you can find this die set here: https://shrsl.com/3lnck  To create this card, I die cut the "Happy Birthday" sentiment using glossy black cardstock. I put the sentiment on a rectangular shaped piece of purple card stock. I used a piece of pattern paper from the Spellbinders Cheerful Occasions Paper Pad (part of the Birthday Celebrations Collection). I used a piece of purple cardstock as the mat layer behind the pattern paper. I used a birthday cake sticker from the Birthday Celebrations Sticker Pack https://shrsl.com/3lnlf  This Sticker Pack includes four sheets of cardstock stickers that include borders, banners, talk bubbles, stars and more! I adhered the birthday cake sticker to a piece of purple foil card stock, matted with a piece of purple cardstock. To finish, I adhered these layers to a white A2 (4.25" x 5.5") top folding card base. 

My third card was created with the Merry Everything Words Etched Dies, part of The Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken. It truly covers many seasonal events such as Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s/Father’s Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. This set of 10 thin metal cutting dies covers you through the year! In addition to the Merry Everything Word Dies, I also used the Love Never Fails Clear Stamp Set from the Cardmaker II Stamp Collection https://shrsl.com/3lnjh  This stamp set features several silhouette flowers and leaves. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in the colors Terracotta, Flame, Ginger, Apricot, Martini, and Matcha to stamp these images. You can find those inks here: https://shop.catherinepooler.com/?aff=111 I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut out the flowers and leaves.

I used the Candlewick Rectangles Etched Dies Candlewick Classics Collection by Becca Feeken https://shrsl.com/3lno2 to cut out a rectangle card panel using ivory paper. I used gold foil cardstock as a mat layer behind the ivory rectangle. I cut out the words "Happy Thanksgiving" with ivory card stock. I cut out the long tag shape to frame the sentiments using gold foil cardstock. I adhered all the flowers and leaves to the four corners of the rectangle panel and then adhered the words onto the long tag. To finish, I adhered everything to a white A2 (4.25" x 5.5") top folding horizontal card base.

Spellbinders Balloon Party Animal Dies and more! #spellbinders #neverstopmaking

Today I have a slimline card featuring several new items from the Spellbinders 20th Birthday Celebrations collection! I am honored that Spellbinders reached out to me and asked me to create with these fun products. I hope my card inspires you!

To start my project, I cut out the Balloon Party Animals Dies out using two colors of blue and two colors of purple paper. One of the blue papers I used is light blue pearlescent paper. The pictures below illustrate the balloon cut out pieces.

Next I cut out the Stylized Happy Birthday Etched Dies using black card stock for the shadow and gold foil card stock for the actual letters. The photo below illustrates the dies and the cut out pieces.

Next I embossed using the new Hand Drawn Scallops Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is 8.5" long by 5.5" wide, which makes it perfect for slim line cards or you can make two A2 cards by cutting it in half. I used Catherine Pooler Inks to ink blend a rainbow on the embossed paper and trimmed to 8" x 5.25".
