Hello. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am excited to share
another card with you that I created as a design team member for the Createful
Heart Design. This is my March 2020 card using the digital image:
"Emmie Lou" and you can have this beautiful image too. It is
available at the Createful Heart Design Shop:

To create this card, I printed the image on my ink jet printer. I used gel pens to color the image, except for her face and arms, which I used a Copic marker to color because I didn't have any gel pens that would work for a flesh tone. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the image. I used foam pop dots on the back of the image to give it some dimension.
I selected a yellow card stock and some pretty green and yellow pattern paper to create my card. I needed something to add interest to the card, so I used the Heirloom Frames and Dies from Stampin Up to die cut an oval. Here is a link to the embossing folder/die combo:
I used foam pop dots to raise the Heirloom Frame up off the base of my card. The oval is a bit smaller than the image of Emmie Lou, but I think she looks good layered on top of the deeply embossed oval.
Next I had several white flowers from dollar general. I used my Copic marker to color the flowers (and the pearl in the middle of the flower) yellow. I then glued the flowers to the four corners of the card, using Beacon 3-in-1 glue:https://smile.amazon.com/Beacon-314OZ-314OZBOT12-Glue-Multicolor/dp/B001683NAO/ref=sr_1_1?_encoding=UTF8&hvadid=77790501604268&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=beacon+glue+3+in+1&qid=1584157023&sr=8-1
I love all the dimension on this card! |
I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today. I so appreciate your visit!
This is my seventh month as a member of the Design Team
for Createful Heart Design, a digital
stamp and digital paper company. The owners of Createful Heart Design, Mary,
and her husband Mark draw all the digital stamps by hand and Mary designs the
digital papers on her computer. It is exciting to be a part of this design team
and I hope that you will check out their online store. Here is a link to the
