Hello and welcome. Today I made two cards for the Fairy Stamper Design Team. All of these stamps area available at https://fairystamper.com/collections/fairy-hugs-stamps
To create these, I first used the Woody stencil from Fairy Stamper to create a background. I cut a circle mask and placed it on the card panel for the moon. I sprayed Pixie Spray on the back of the stencil. This is a temporary adhesive that helps to keep the stencil in place. I used the following distress oxide inks to blend the background: Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Blueprint Sketch.
Next I removed the mask and and ink blended the moon/blank circle with Antique Linen distress oxide ink. I stamped the larger of the moon stamps with Black Jack ink from Catherine Pooler. I then used one of my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out the moon. I used foam tape to adhere the moon to the Antique Linen ink blended circle. Next I stamped the Lantern Tree Stamp and trimmed it to look like a log or a huge branch. I ink blended the trimmed image with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and glued it down to the card panel. I stamped one of the Bears from the Beary Family Stamp Set with Catherine Pooler Black Jack Dark Gray Ink and used foam tape to adhere the bear to the top of the branch. I also stamped the mini fairies from the Condo Dwellers Stamp Set with Black Jack Ink. I cut the bear and fairies out with my Scan N Cut. I used a yellow alcohol ink marker to color the fairies, giving them a glowing appearance. I mounted the panel to a black A2 (4.25 x 5.5 inches) side folding card base.
For my second card, I followed the same steps as outlined above with my first card, but I used the large rock from the Rock Set stamp set. I colored the rock with alcohol markers and glued it to the card panel.
The Bears and the Big Moon cards were created using Beary Family (FHS-086), Rock Set (FHS-116), Full Moon (FHS053), Lantern Tree (FHS-083), Condo Dwellers (FHS060) and the stencil Woody (SKU: FH-STEN-03). These stamps are available at: https://fairystamper.com/collections/fairy-hugs-stamps
