Hello. Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Fairy Stamper Design Team. It is interesting how our art can reflect our feelings and can be an outlet to relieve the stress that we are experiencing in real life. I am thankful to have card making as outlet for creativity and to offer me a way to connect to so many wonderful crafty people.
For this card, you can see Blue Bell (FHS-002) who is on top of the large Rock (FHS-116). The background created with Gel Plate, Brushos and Glitter Gel. Her wings were painted with sparkle aqua brush pens. I also used the Lantern Tree (FHS-083) and Flower Vine (FHS-121). I used my Scan and Cut to cut out the Large Rock and Blue Bell. I used foam tape on the back of both the rock and the fairy. I also die cut the word "Pray" using a die cut from my stash. I used pop dots to pop this word up. The ink that I used to stamp with was Versafine Clair Nocturne. I used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to ink up the white space (corners around my blue Brusho Backgroud)
If you look closely at her wings, you will see they are brightly colored. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
I selected this particular fairy because she seems sad, as if she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Having recently just gone through a sad separation from one of my best friends, this card reflects my current mood.
To Create this Card, I used the following Stamp Sets:
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Maybe Bluebell is just tired. I need to use my Scan and Cut more. Thanks for the reminder.
