Fairy Hugs - Fairy Stamper Design Team Announcement!

Hello! Welcome to my blog.  I am super excited to announce that today is my premier as a new member of the Fairy Stamper Design Team! Each Thursday at 3 p.m. I will have a new card on my blog and on the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook Page. I will also have a new video each Saturday on the Fairy Stamper You Tube Page. I created today's card using Tokara from Fairy Hugs Stamps. https://fairystamper.com/pages/search-results-page?q=tokara

First, I used Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink to stamp Tokara, a silhouette stamp.

I stamped only Tokara's fairy wings using Versamark Ink. I sprinkled clear sparkly embossing powder and heat embossed, giving her wings lots of twinkle  I used a brush point Fantastix pen to apply Versafine Claire Warm Breeze ink to her wings, giving them a pretty blue color. Because we can never have enough sparkle, I also used a clear sparkle brush pen to apply an overlay of clear sparkle on top of the twinkly wings.

Next, I stamped the Lily Tree from the Fairy Lily Stamp set by Fairy Stamper: https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-fairy-lily
I used Versafine Claire Green Oasis ink for the stalk and Summertime (orange) for the flowers. The Fairy Lily Stamp set comes with an individual Fairy Flower, which I stamped in Tokara's hands. In the background I stamped two little butterflies. I used Summertime and Cheerful Inks from Versafine Clair to stamp the butterfly.
The little butterfly is from another Fairy Hugs stamp, Sivelle: https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-sivelle  Next, I used a piece of torn paper to create the clouds in the background. The ink I used for the clouds is Cummerbund, Catherine Pooler's new blue colored ink. I used another piece of torn paper to create the grassy knoll that Tokara is kneeling on. My ink color for that step is Catherine Pooler's In the Park. Catherine Pooler Inks are available here: http://shop.catherinepoolm?aff=111 Finally, I used the Fairy Hugs Stamp Hanging Vines https://fairystamper.com/products/fairy-hugs-stamps-hanging-vines to stamp some foliage on top of the grassy knoll. I turned the stamp sideways and stamped the vines with Versafine Claire Rain Forest Ink.

Finally I used an oval torn edge die to die cut a window out of navy colored card base. This oval creates a focal point by surrounding Tokara in a frame.
