Safari Babies Honeybee Stamps Not 2 Shabby Design team project

Hello and welcome to my Blog. Thank you for visiting!

I made this card as part of the Not 2 Shabby Design Team. I used the Honey Bee Stamps "Safari Babies" stamp set, along with Catherine Pooler mini inks.
Links to the products I used are listed below.

I made a video of the step by step process for creating this card

The heart window was made using a Spell Binders heart die from my stash.  This heart made the perfect cut out window for this card. I colored the giraffes using Alcohol Markers from Ohuhu.

As you can see, I got alot of practice making this card. I just hope the recipients enjoy receiving this card as much as I enjoyed creating them.

To create these cards, I stamped the giraffe using Brutus Monroe Detail Ink. It is an alcohol marker friendly ink. I then colored the image with Alcohol Markers by Ohuhu. I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut the image out. I used a heart stencil from Spellbinders to created a window in the front cover of of the card.  I glued the heart cut out to the inside panel. I then used the "Sunburst" stencil by Miss Ink stamps and Catherine Pooler ink to stencil the front of the card and the die cut heart. I used a sentiment from the AlteNew Leaf Medallion Stamp Set inside the card. On the front cover I used the die cut word "Hello."  This die cut word was created using a scrap of paper colored to match the card using Catherine Pooler ink.

Due to my video footage being corrupted, I had to film the video twice. That's why I have a total of three cards!

Roses & Dragonfly Createful Heart Design Team Card

 Hello! Welcome to my Blog!

Today I am sharing a card featuring the adorable
"Roses & Dragonfly" Digital Stamp from Createful Heart Designs. This beautiful image which features several roses and dragonflies is available at the Createful Heart Design Shophttp://createful-heart-design.zibbet.com/roses-roses-dragonfly-set-zipped-file

Here is a photo of the images that you receive when you purchase this digital stamp:
Directions / How I made this card:

1.  Using my computer, I resized the digital image of the dragon fly to make it the appropriate size for the top of the roses.

2. I printed the image using my inkjet printer and then I colored the images using Ohuhu alcohol markers. I used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen in Red Berry to highlight the roses.

3. I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut out the images. This allowed me to cut out the roses individually.

4.    The background stamp is from Simon Says Stamp and it is called Modern Rose Blooms (SSS101912). It is a red rubber stamp. I stamped the background stamp with Versamark Embossing Ink.  I used Brutus Monroe Alabaster (White) Ultra Fine Embossing Powder to emboss the background stamp.

5.     After I heat embossed the background stamp, I used Catherine Pooler ink in Party Dress Pink to blend on top of the embossed floral background. I used a make up blending brush for this emboss resist techniqe. I then used a damp baby wipe to wipe away some of the pink ink.

6.     I used foam tape to adhere the roses to the background. I trimmed the stems from the large rose image and turned them so they would create a spray it the background. I layered the roses on top of the stems using foam tape.

7. I colored dragofly with Ohuhou markers and used wink of stella to make it sparkle.

8. I finished the card with the Hello sentiment (light pink background shadow die).

Samantha by Createful Heart Designs

Hello! Welcome to my Blog!
Today I am sharing a layered card featuring the adorable
"Samantha" Digital Stamp from Createful Heart Designs:
This darling image, which includes Samantha, small toadstools (with tiny snail on top)
and three butterflies is available at the Createful Heart Design Shop: http://createfulheartcards.blogspot.com/p/my.html

I created this card by following these steps:

  1. Printed the image using my inkjet printer. Colored the image using Arteza colored pencils. If you would like to purchase anything from Arteza here is an affiliate code for my crafting pal Nancy and a coupon code: ARTEZA: http://arteza.com/?utm_source=postaffiliatepro&utm_medium=affiliate&a_aid=Youtube_NancyStamps
(Use code NancyStamps4 for 10% off)
  2. Used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut out the image. This allowed me to cut out the butterflies individually.
  3. Die cut the floral cover plate die (not sure of the manufacturer of this die) using holographic cover stock (pink shiny paper)
  4. Die cut the background paper (purple patterned paper) using the outline portion of the floral coverplate die.
  5. Glued the background patterned paper and the die cut holographic paper to the front of a pink A2 sized card base
  6. Die cut the sentiment "Just for You" (Crafter's Companion Sentiment Die) using bright pink paper for the words and purple for the shadow.
  7. Popped up the image, including the butterflies, with pop dots. Popped up the sentiment also. Adhered these to the front of the card.
  8. Glued three paper flowers to the bottom left corner of the card.
  9. Added sparkly gems to the center of the flowers (Nuvo - Pure Sheen Gemstones - Crystal Gems)

This is my ninth month as a member of the Design Team for Createful Heart Design, a digital stamp and digital paper company. The owners of Createful Heart Design, Mary, and her husband Mark draw all the digital stamps by hand and Mary designs the digital papers on her computer. Coffee Lover's Slim Line Card

Hello. Thank you for visiting by Blog today. I am featuring two Coffee Lover's Slim Line Cards.  These cards were created with the "Let's Do Coffee" Stamp Set by Not 2 Shabby.

My First Card (pictured above) was created using the Trinity Stamps Slimline Stitched Dies. I used turquoise paper for the first layer, then bright pink, then patterned paper. The patterned paper layer features three windows. This window frame was popped up using foam tape. I then pieced the cutouts inside the frames before I layered the colored images onto the card front.

I created a video on how to make these cards:

I colored the images with Kaiser Craft Kaiser Colour Gel Pens. These are fine tipped gel pens that feature 48 colors: Metallics, Glitter, Pastels and Neons.

I used Patterned Paper from my stash that featured coffee cups
in various bold colors.

For the sentiment I heat embossed "Let's do Coffee" using Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink and Brutus Monroe Icicle (clear) embossing powder.
______________________________

I made a second slimlinecard. This one features the Trinity Stamps Scalloped Slimline Die. I used Yellow Cardstock for the first layer, patterned paper for the second layer, and lilac cardstock for the die with the three frames or windows.

Here are a few close up photos of the images, colored with Kaiser Craft Kaiser Color Gen Pens:
